Software Upgrades

How much money would you pay to upgrade your computer just to play a certain game say DOOM 2 or HALF LIFE2.

Me, nothing, out of funds.

Doom 2? That's real old, I hope you mean Doom 3, because if you can't play Doom 2, then you are in trouble.

It wouldn't really be worth upgrading, say, a Pentium /// processor to play those games.

And if it costs you about $400, forget about it, you can buy a brand-new comp for a little bit more than that.

Just my 2 cents.

The only thing I had to upgrade in my PC to play Half-life 2 was my graphics card. It was about $150

most likely, you will just need a new video card about $150 or so. But if you need a new processor, like said above, forget it.

to play anything i'd have to redo my pc
which i have priced at $3000

but i'm going all the way on upgrades

I don't play PC games.

Even so, I have a computer next to me that is able to spew out half-life 2 easy.
