Hip gear

everybody seems to like the HIP gear screens. I was wondering:
1 if it is easy to hook up, composite video signal IN line?
2 how big the screen is, if you know
3. how small you can get the circuit board to be
4. prices.

I'm also looking for places with good prices. My local TRU has them for $44 (.com probably does too) but for a while they were clearanced well under $30. Unfortunately I let that one slide.

Amazon.com had em for 20 for a while, then they skyrocketed to 45.

usually a 2.5" screen...the board stuff isnt that much bigger than the screen, but then for the color brightness contrast and voulme controller its a lil bigger, but still not that big.... imaging a ps2 controller... everything is about that size....

1. Yes it is composite only.
2. 2.6" dia.
3. It is as small as its going to get, sorry.
4. I paid about $25 for mine. Dont pay any more then $30 for one. Thats the price they cost when they came out.

several people have and from what i hear they are pretty easy to work with. btw if anyone has a hip gear/intec screen they want to get rid of for very cheap i am looking

or pretty much any other lcd for that matter (i need a 5 incher for my n64P at somepoint in the future

psone screens are 50$ at eb games

ebay is cheap but dont trust everything you see

I was able to knock about 3/8" of each side of my xbox version.

Yeah at the moment I have mine connected to a stripped PSone in my basement. You only connect about 5 wires (video, V ground, Audio L, Audio R, Audio ground). Its really easy to attach. I'd have a PSoneP but the screen is acting up and I put the project on the back burner when school started.
