no video

Hello,

I just re-wired my 2600 project for the 3rd time. Here are my simptons, if anyone had any ideas, that would be great.

If I turn the unit on, without a cartridge, the white led turn on.

If I put the cartridge in, then turn the unit on(the way it should work) - nothing happens.

I'm thinking I should re-do the video portion again.

Too little voltage getting to the system. Try putting in the cart after it's on.

you aren't running the screen off the same 7805, are you? Maybe it's not getting the current, I don't know. I haven't heard of that problem before

Come to think of it, the only time it actually worked (the led mod always worked, the game showing up )was when I had it wired with "solid" wire. But then I still had the issue of needing to put the cart in after turning it on. Right now, I'm also leaning toward abandoning my case. It just seems too hard to get everything in there. I've been thinking of using a case more like someone on these boards used. It was a clear plastic "Tackle Box". What do you guys think?

Go to a craft store near you, I bought a ~7x7x3" case that was awesome. I had enough room to put in what I wanted, and it was still small enough to be considered portable

The pictures in the forum went down with PoD, and I still haven't put it on doomportables itself yet

However, I do have a picture you can see here
