The perfect LCD for portable... 7"... $50 USD

This isn't THE top of the line LCD, but for $50 roughly USD, you can't beat 7"! Its moddifyable to RGB input, and I'm sure stereo sound. I'm thinking to get one! complete with remote and TV tuner, you couldn't just watch DVD movies on your new PStwo portable, but watch TV, and play your games! Obviously! If someone else wants to try, hit us up on how it works and looks... I might go for it, but the currency conversion from $24.99 GBP to the $50 USD doesn't seem right... How can UK money be worth than USA? Our money is ALWAYS worth more for some reason... At least it allways eemed liek it to me... Anyway... Someone buy one!

I'm guessing you don't use Ebay much. Ebay items, unless they are 'Buy It Now', are being auctioned and that's the current bid price that's shown. Unless there is a major fluke, that item will go much higher, typically in the final moments of the auction (5 min to a few seconds before close).

Unless you see it Buy-It-Now or a bunch of them already completed around the same price, don't get excited about something being 'cheap' on Ebay.

UK Pounds Sterling has always been higher than the US dollar, even higher now that the US Dollar has dropped in value.

Haha well shiznit, it was won for only $50 but the shipping was more than $70! Not so cheap now was it

(and plus it was a 16:9 ratio, so the actual screen was what, less than 5" 3:4 ratio?) Some Ebay sellers low-ball like that.

Shipping to the moon wouldn't even be $70 for something like that... They really rip you off when it comes down to shipping. I'm glad I talked tot he company before bidding. I didn't bid becuase if would cost me $122 USD to have that. Screw that! I'll buy 3 Sony PSone LCDs for that.

Since it appears that they're shipping from Honk Kong, that's about average to get something from there of that size and weight.

how about the screen from a portable dvd player? I've got a polaroid and the dvd players broken so i'm about to open the casing and see how hard it's going to be to hook it up to my ps2; any tips would be welcome as i couldn't drive myself to throw away a perfectly good 8" inch screen.

most DVD player screens are digital so you probably can't use it

If there is a circuit board by the LCD, with a bunch of stuff of it, then its probably a controller board, and could accept composite or RGB or whatnot. If the screen just plugs into the DVD-board, then you cant use it.

its possible that a dvd player screen may accept RGB but it would take so long to makeit ork its not worth it
