Best controller for N64p

This controller has the best innards for use as a portable. See for yourself:

Forgot to mention the whole purpose. The control board has little solder pads that are left unused so you can connect tact switches to them, or cut off the sides of the board and resolder them using the solder pads (you can even cut the solder pads in half and solder wires to both sides to connect them! Note: this doesn't work on the right side, you have to attach another wire for the B button.)

heh that would make things a lot easier for seperating the controller(for those who want the d-pad, which I do). Whats the name/brand of this controller, and does it feel/work as well as a normal 64 controller?

I say the boomerang controller is the best, it has a small main board and then the buttons are on seperate daughter boards, real easy to resolder.

if only the joystick used pots rather than LEDs and photocells

they sell them at your local gamestop,well,at least in my local gamestop.

i'll have to agree with gannon, boomarang has separate boards. inovation is easy to make into separate boards

I'm not sure if this controller uses pots, but it sure looks like it. But I agree, the boomerang seems to be a much better type for separating the controls. The controller is an Inovation 64 and yes, it does work as well as a normal controller, but the original feel is not as good. It also has turbo and slow features. The Z button is also better, as it is hinged at the top.

Yes, it's a PHP script and if you have a browser that doesn't keep a cache for certain images (the latest version of Safari doesn't care it's a script and automatically assigns the last image it generated to the URL until you refresh or quit) it will change every time it is loaded. The webmaster over at www.metroid2002.com is very talented with web design.

It's not a very difficult script, because it is just a random image selector, so the hardest part is making the script look like a picture.
