I'd have to go with the GP32. I have neither, but plan to get a GP32 someday. The GP32 seems to have many more emulators and stuff, and as a kid who could easily say no to movies on a 3.5" screen, the PSP's movie player doesnt interest me.

the best in what sense? Available gaming? raw power? homebrew development? what do you want it to do?

I really hate backing sony products, but the PSP is probably your clear winner on all counts--or it will be the winner very soon.

however, even with your choices listed, I still say that nothing has even come close to GBA for pure gaming and usability. (yet)

i couldnt way it better than that.. if you want to have stuff run on it, pick the Gp32.. if you want to watch hitch on a 4" screen buy the PSP...

The Zodiac actually has some pretty nice features. It is kinda expensive though...

It's only been a few months on the PSP, its homebrew scene will certainly pick up. As for the commercial scene, you can purchase english games at any electronics department in the country. How many commercial titles does gp32 have in english?

gp32 may have a lot of emus and homebrew, but that's about it for gaming. Not the big-budget games of another sony megagiant.

I don't like playing the devil's advocate by defending sony--I truly hate what they've done to video gaming--but they must be given their due for getting massive numbers of a powerful system on the market. One that it's relatively easy to homebrew for. However, at this exact moment, you are correct and both gp32 and zodiac have more interesting uses. But PSP will quickly overtake. It'll still be one cold day when I break down and buy one, though...

gp32 has everything stomped in the homebrew and emulatin scene! it cannot be beat in those areas, only downside to the gp32 is a mak of 128mb smc cards :(

I said psp cause you can get emulators for it and put mp3s movies and play gta on it I love gta so psp it is but I wouldn't mind a gp32 either they seem pretty nice.
