I'm making a game...

I decided a couple days ago to try to make a game. It's coming along pretty nicely. It is incredibly simple, though, because it is my first game ever. It is called Rotong, and it is an "updated" version of pong. You can play against another person or against the (currently very crappy) AI. The inventive thing about Rotong is that you can rotate your paddle to send the ball in a different direction. You can also shoot the ball to change its direction, or shoot the other player to stop him/her for a little while. It's a small game, so give it a try.

It still needs a LOT of work, because I don't even have sounds or an options menu yet, but I'd like opinions on what I have done so far.

haha sweet, ive used game maker quite a lot and it is a very cool program that can do almost every kind of game you can think of from platformers to RPGs

I've never used game maker. I use RPG Maker XP...I just started to make a new game, I've been working on it for almost 2 weeks and still only have like 3min of game play

I might get some thing done if I could some help...

Adventure Game Studio is pretty good. I was building a small Family Guy based RPG, but I couldn't get the graphics to not look like crap.

I have programmed small text adventures in Computer NOVEL Construction Set and QuickBasic, but I forget where I put them.
