thats what i did, i soldered a bunch of wires in there but i cant figure out how to connect all the wires to the cartridge port

Solder them to the cart slot's pins.

ive tried that but i couldnt even get one. trying to hold the soldering iron, the solder and the wire is very hard to do. any other way i could do it.

IDE or SCSI. If you still use separate wires, tin the wires and pins. It will make it easier.

to remove the Exp. slot, i just took a pair of pliers, ripped off the aluminum sheeting covering it, then cracked the walls where the pins were. i then too a pair of snippers an clipped the pins down, making it level with those holes.

you don't have to hold the solder if you first tin the pins, the wires, and the soldering iron. then just put them together (and put flux or lemon juice on the pins and wires), heat it up, and it's done

It's like flux, it makes solderring easier.
