I forget, who was the first?
Jeez, I thought the guy who played Scotty died years ago. I know he played a bit part on TNG, but that was years ago...

DeForest Kelly (spelling anyone?) died six years ago this past May or June. I distinctly remember hearing about it when I was in sixth grade near the end of the year. And now there's one fewer crew member from TOS, a sad day indeed. Let's hope they find a cure for old age before Leonard Nimoy dies, what would we do without Spock?bicostp wrote:I forget, who was the first?

Resort to using Tovok?
I think TOS is done and over with, and will only remain alive in our hearts and maybe that comic book series I've heard of.
Besides look on the bright side guys, he beat the spread! The average life of an american male is I think 75.

I am also saddened by this news. You'd probably not guess it but I'm a huge fan of TOS. (Enough to know the acronym at least) It was impressive when Scotty piped out a kid at age 80!
DeForest Kelly (Bones McCoy) died a few years ago. He wasn't as old as Scotty, but also not much older than Spock or Kirk (both turn 75 this year)
Sigh... All the great old actors are dying, leaving us with Brekin Meyer and Jimmy Fallon. The one I'll really be sad to see go is Chuck Heston. He kicked a lot of butt back in the day, and is probably close to 80.
DAMN DIRTY APES!
