jup everything is connected
sync red blue green and ground on the motherboard from the gamecube you have 1 to to 12 and the pinouts that i've found are like this
1. red video
2. green video
3. +12v DC
4. blue video
5. ground
6. ground
7. nothing
8. nothing
9. composite video
10. + 5v DC
11. audio left
12. audio right
i connected to the right point but get a black screen and nothing happens but when i connectd just the composite in to the slot 2 on the psone screen than it works but i want rgb
and another thing just wondering the +5v DC (number 10) could i connect that to the +5v in the psone screen>?[/img]

i got the pinouts from a diffenrent site but this one show's about the same

and nope it didn't work from pin 7 or 8 didn't work on any pin but i has to be the right one caue it works with the composite on slot 2
so what is wrong do i have to put a something between the connection ??

Are you using the GameCube component video cable, or are you trying in vain to get the signals from the connections to that port? Sorry, but the only way to get RGB on the 'cube is to buy the component video cable, open it up, desolder one of the pins on the convertor chip inside and connect it with a resistor to another pin of the connector. Then the green cable becomes green, the red, red and the blue blue. Next, you have to chop off the ends and run two more wires from another 2 pins to get H and V sync (the 'cube DOES NOT output C sync) and build a sync convertor circuit to get everything working.

If anyone cares, there is a S/PDIF mod (add a TOSLINK optical or Coaxial digital audio output) that can be done at the same time as the RGB/VGA mod by adding 5 extra wires to the shield and building a box instead of just attaching a VGA connector. i don't know if you read through to replys but i have a PAL gamecube and a PAL psone screen meening that the gamecube does send out rgb and the crren will take rgb input but when i connected the point toghter i get a black screen i'm now trying to put a 220uF capacitor inbetween the wires but i don't really get what that does??
From what I've heard/read the capaciter is to keep spiking from happening and so give a better signal.
As for getting RGB from the GameCube, its pinout on the A/V out is just a matter of connecting the right lines to the the right connections on the screen board. As Zenloc has said he has a PSone screen he's good. Gamelver just the same thing.

i'll explain what 's wrong again since i still haven't got the right awnser yet

I have a question now: with Ben's Atari video mod, would it be possible to do the same thing on a regular S-video output if composite doesn't have good contrast or correct colors on a pocket TV? I am speaking of a GameCube of course and there is too much red and the screen is too dark (ie, Metroid Prime is unplayable. I don't want to build a portable with this yet (I won't be using this GCN or this TV (it is passive matrix), but I do want a semi-portable until I get more stuff to build a real one. I know how Ben's mod works, but what leads on the s-video cable correspond to what spots on the pots (letter names please)?
Zenloc go to gamesx.com and look at the A/V pin out. Note that the pinout of the PSone screen is in a stickey in the Screens forum and is also a mirror of the PSone's A/V.
Usbcd36, the video mod that Ben made for the Atari is to amplify the signal as previously it was too weak for a screen like the PSone monitor to use. If you want to use a different A/V signal be sure that the screen supports it. Most pocket tvs only take composite, and S-Video I've only heard of being used on say the monitors that come with DVD players (if you can find one). If you're looking to use a PSone screen with S-Video, sorry it doesnt support that type of video input.
Also sell that screen you have the only systems that can use Passive Matrix screens without bluring are the very old 8 bit, Atari, Commodore and Coleco.
