Snes Parts list...problem

I'm on my way to Radioshack to buy the items listed on the Electronic Parts list for the SNESP on page 249. Does anyone know if the 4 battery holders, being :

Battery holder (Holds four AA batteries) 270-391 x2
and
Battery holder (Holds four AA batteries) 270-391a x2

is a typo? or if I need all four? the only difference is the "a" after the part#.

it doesnt really matter because you are gonna cut them up any way but go for the 4AA battery holder

In my book it says 270-391 OR 270-383 x2 so you only need two of one type becase you only need the metal leads anyway

Actually, he's right. There is a typo. Near the top of the parts list, it says you need 2 battery holders of type X or type Y, and near the bottom, it says you need 2 battery holders of type Z. See for yourself:
