Apparently a kid already has the Xbox 360. His dad works at Microsoft and brought a system home to test. I imagine daddy isn't too happy with junior here for violating Microsoft's Non-Discolsure Agreement. Anyways, I thought it was cool.

If you click on the picture, you will see 2 other pics. I one of them, there is a screen of him playing Halo 2.

the xbox 360 doesn't have backwards compatibility

Microsoft hasn't released weather it could play Xbox games or not. They only stated it would be hard to make it work because the Xbox used a Nivida chip where as the Xbox360 uses a ATI card, but it's still intirely posible that it will be backwards compatable.

Although I have to say that if they don't make it backwards compatable than theres gonna be some angry people out there and they will lose a lot of costomers to Sony and Nintendo.

It looks a lot like a Dreamcast for some reason. Just the way it looks is all.
It could very possibly be real... Or not. Time will tell.

WTH is up with all these newer consoles being WHITE?! That's an awful color to use for a game system! But that's just me. You know what they say, once you go black you don't go back. I guess that's not true after all...

i know i read that here won;t be backwards compatibility.get EGM mag,the xbox special

In the newest EGM issue they stated that when the xbox 360 article went to print, M$ changed their mind. Apparently only the good games will be emulated, not all of the xbox games.

Um guys, Microsoft DID announce that there would be limited backwards compatibility for select titles. They have yet to announce which ones, but it's a pretty safe bet that Halo 1 & 2, as well as their other good games (Splinter Cell, Fable, KOTOR, etc) will run on the 360.

Microsoft PR guy Micheal Wolf has said "our goal is to make ALL Xbox games play on Xbox 360, and at launch we'll have a selection of the top selling that will be tested and confirmed to work." You that if only a number of games from the Xbox game library is going to be backwards compatible they can always see about fixing that with mod chips or modded software to force the system to support all games.

at most this is a publicity stunt, at worst this is a hoax.
