hey whats that molding that you carve a shape out of, fill it with some clay stuff then let it dry, an its like a hard case called?

its like PCI mold or something. and whats that clay called?

wow man i dont think its that i saw an injection Mechine its like a HUge Gatlin Gun woooo definatly not that, its like a lil box mold and u put clay in it, clay turns hard as plastic u take it out and its one

i think its called crack. way to much crack.. oh lord crack makes a good mold some times.and you always go back and play with your portable.. (atleast you might lick it a little at a time)

doesnt Ben use A big huge Machine called a CnC Router that cust out his cases?

injection molding mold buddy.. that what that is.. now you dont just jam clay in to it and it makes some plastic.. you pump in real hot compressed plastic through them hols there and you sould have a parts tree of every thing... like what you find in a model boat or car kit.

For the Pheonix, Ben uses injection molding, which is a lot cheaper than CNC'ing.You take a negative of the case, and a positive, put them together, and fill (inject with a syringe) the gap with a 2-part resin compound.

and also i just found out i cant go anywhere to do injection molding cuz its a Multi-Million Dollar machine i dont have thet kind of money!

Thats professional injection molding, you can do the homemade injection molding for less.

Do you plan on mass producing? If not, then this is just a waste of time, because you need to have a case to make a mold of in the first place.
