I havn't bought items from ebay in quite a few years...
And recently i fried somthing via the ground line on my ps2 board.
So im lookin for a ps2 slimline since its smaller and working!! And ive been hearin I could get good deals on ebay
Anybody have any experience with buying stuff from ebay or ps2's. Because i looked and there are some around 80-110 which saves me about $20-30 easily even with shipping.
Any comments/opinions are appreciated
if you think it's a good deal, get it. a good way to get very good deals is look for something that's broken but you know how to fix. also watch out to see if there's a catch
exactly, i bought a NES for 5 dollars, but got a busted famiclone with a 72 pin connector. Sadly be technically, it was a NES, so i couldn't well complain to EBAy. Damn technicalities

Im actually more interested in the ps2 slimline due to its superior technology(heat/power/size) Id also rather have nic built in and the flip top cover though my ps2 case is part of my portable case now so i cant really sell it whole...
i suppose im gonna go lookin for the ps2 slimline tonight and hopefully find a good offer, but still if anyone else has any good/bad stories do tell
Whenever you do an online auction your always takeing a little risk, when making big perchases I find it good to use pay pal, they are a reliable and the buyer never gets your card number, and there fraud survice is really great.
I'ts always best to go with something that has a pic, it's not always reliable but its better than some things.
Beware of ebay...not a fortnight ago I was deceived by a treacherous english woman. Oh woe is thou that hast lost his 24 pounds to this wench. This vile rat of temptress... Expecting no more than a simple Game Boy Camera, I was given taste of defeat most bitter and sore, but hence, I shall no more take service of this pedelers trap know as eBay!
Big deal around DecemberI was ordering a G3, which was about $200. I waited about 2 week til the seller finally responded to my email about when I would recieve. I had something to lose there, $30 bucks is not that bad. Oh and fill a complaint with ebay.
