Psone screen question

Hey guys you know that rectangle thing on top of the Psone screen
can I take it off and if so how much of the board can I take off???

you can take it off if you have done the led mod and then just check if there are any important traces and cut!

Hmmm well can I take it off without and stick it somewhere else and cut down the board. by the way the only reason for this is because my hand made snesp case is like 5 millimeters to small

But i've heard that it is crap and I broke my first screen that way and got demotivated and yeah.

well, it'll be a little bit harder...but hopefully, it'll make the LED mod brighter

I want myportable to be finshed and sealed so i have to do the led mod before it goes in the case
