Hip Gear Help

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Hip Gear Help

Post by elliott »

I just got a Hip Gear for an Xbox that has the grey ribbon cable connecting the video board to the adjustment controls. The only info I can find on here is about the ones that have colored wires going between them. I am putting this in a GBO case and need to reconstruct the video controls. I found the Power, GND and Video leads before I took off the ribbon cable thinking I wouldn't need the controls, but without them the screen looks like crap. Can anyone help me out with a schematic of which holes in the board connect to what, and also what are the values of the pots and resistors that I need?
