psone screen help needed please

okiedoke, i have a problem with my screen, when i hook up my screen to a 12v line using two 22ohm resistors i get nothing bu a white screen, when i do it with one 22ohm resistor my screen gets distorted like crazy but i can see some picture. could somebody either explain ohms law extensively to me so i can understand or could someone tell me what ohm resistor i need for the job please?

It would help if you told us the voltage and current your screen needs.

its best if you use a regulator.

the screen takes 7.5 volts and im using 12 volts t power it. I dont know how much current is needed; it's pobably around 200 mAh

Not even close. 750mAh is about right.

I realized that you said what screen it was after I posted that, and didn't feel like editing. Squee's right, without the LED mod, the screen takes about 750mAh. The PS1 screen can't run at more than 9V, and it is screwy at that point to.

i found out that using a 10 ohm resistor i can get ~7.2 volts from 12 volts.
