That thing might be able to accept old NES controllers. Some NES controllers, a nice paint job, and a NES edition SP would look cool with this. Or maybe we can hack this to accept batteries and a hipgear screen (looks like a good size and would be an easy portable project since a cart slot is already attached).

I have an idea. Since the GBA/GBASP was based on the 16 bit technology as the SNES. Maybe the thing is just a decrypter that decrypts SNES games, and sends the converted info into the GBA. The controller maybe just programmed on. So maybe the GBA itself is the processor and guts, and the things just a converter.
