I found a pretty good deal on ebay for a psone screen but it said was PAL does anybody know if this will still work?

Depends on if you have a PAL system, if not, then no.

It should say either PAL or NTSC. If you got it in North America, it is NTSC.

Is your friend constantly going to other countries buying N64s? I didn't think so. It is most definatley NTSC.

how about this, does it work on your current television? if it does, then it's an NTSC unit. besides, if you friend had a foreign system he'd brag and generally would have been annoying about it--he also would likely not have given it to you. it goes too well with the uppity euro TV he also would have tried to go on about.
