2 xbox 1 screen video switch hookup...i need help

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

ummm... they make switch boxes for that purpouse...

Or you could use 2 DPDT switches and superglue the handles together, that would work too.

SPST... isn't that a regular on/off switch? :?

You definitely need an A/B selector switch, but you only need a single-pole double-throw (SPDP) switch. It might not be called that, but yoiu do need one that can select between A and B inputs. Just tie all the grounds together for each xbox and hook them up to the switch like he said.

You could always use a 3PDT.

Why would you need to switch ground? just tie it all together and use an dpdt on the audio and video.
