NESp needs ports

cause I wanna build expansion ports to my nes I'd like to know Is the famicom expansion port 15pin male or female on the console and
I heard on the nes expansion port is a pause funktion how do I use it
(some pinouts would be great)
and has some one by now discovered how to connect a mic to the nes like in the controller of a famicom
ps are the pins of the controller ports of the nes also in the expansionport???

I'm finally @ work but I still don't know how to wire the expansion port of the famicom to my nes I really need help with that and i can't find pause on the exp.port

EDIT:
I got a problem I can't get a 2N4401 in germany how can I build the amplifier with out it a part number or a shematic would help me a lot
and is the famicom exp.port on the console female or male?

I found a site where some one added composite to a nes model 2 he used a 2SC1317 has someone tried that on a nes will it work (is a 2SC1317 compareable to a 2N4401??) I ask because I can get the 2SC1317 in germany but not the 2N4401
