Ben's NOAC Controller Pinouts

Ben I'm guessing you are home by now. If you get a chance could yo post the controller pinouts for the NOAC? (I know there are diagrams but those are a lttle sketchy and most have not been tested).

Well until Ben finds this can anyone else give me their pinout? I know Metal Mattt has done it but has anyone else?

nobody seemed to want to help me either! than again i guess they here questions like this all the time. i even asked, on the nes forum, how i could test for the controller pins myself , but no one responded.

and you should look on doomportables and see if they have a diagram similar to your noac.

Hey I responded. Heres what I said:

I'm not sure if a NOAC button is normally on or off, I'm guessing off so heree goes.
1. Find GND
2. Determine which wires go to the controller
3. Get a wire and attach it to grounds
4. Plug the NOAC into a screen or tv or something
5. Start touching the now GND wire to different pins and see what happens in the game on screen, (you can use the hackola 76 in 1 cart here! )
Thats pretty much it. (If the switches are normally on, replace GND with 5v or whatever the switch normally conected to.)
Sorry for not explaining this very well, but at the moment I have no NOAC so I'm only guessing. Oh yeah, buy the way, if you fry your NOAC its not my fault!

Hey I'll help If you could post a picture of your NOAC pcb.
This is what I did to find out mine.
1) You need to find the audio, video, reset, ground, and 5v lines.
2) You'll then hook it up to a TV and power it on.
3) Connect the controller's 5v and ground lines.
4) There will be 3 more wires that you will need to connect the red, yellow, and orange wires. Just try every combination with the three. The contacts on the noac will probably be right together for the red,orange and yellow but maybe in a different order. Then do the same for the second controller. Remember that the orange wires are the same for both controllers. If you want to use a light gun you'll need to connect the blue and purple wires.

I could help more if you have a picture of it so I know what I have to work with.

You all suck i have found a NOAC thing at my local used crap place, it was only 2 canadian dollars! thats like 1 american dollar... its blue and im putting it in to a thingy so yay! noac!

Wow you got a NOAC for $2. Thats pretty good. I havent seen any in real life so far so I dont know I could get them that cheap in and around my area. This kinda sucks. First Gannon gets all that stuff for $60, and now you get the NOAC for $2! Thats insane. I need to find myself some deals that that!
