I need help! One of the PBS capacitors on my Gamecube's board broke off! It was right next to the digital video output, which I won't need for a portable, and I don't know what to do! Help!

But I don't know if it is needed, and I don't want to bust my GC so early on in it's premature life! Besides, I named it Betsy.

But anyway, can someone help? Preferably someone who knows the GC front and back (like Gamelver).

hmmm.....using my immense and mind-bogglingly large amount of GC knowledge I'd say that you should......replace the capacitor

....actually, you probably don't even need it. I wouldn't know, since those capacitors never came off (though one near the analog output port did...causing the sound to be screwed up!!!). anyway, try out the GC and if it doesn't work, then replace it with a 6v 220uf capacitor.....

Well, the traces ripped of with it, so I don't think I could replace it anyway. When I traced what was left of it, I found it does go to one of the pins on the digital video out, but I'm not sure which one.

Oh well, I was gonna desolder the digital video anyway...
