Looks nice, you even put your name on it :)
Are those shadows or is there some laser burn on the thing?

it's laser burn, but I don't think it'll be visible once it's varnished.

I ordered the parts a little less than a week ago, and they just came today :D

Alls I gotta do now is resolder a few wires that came out (just on a joystick port, which isn't an easy soldering surface anyway) make a few holes for A/Vout and power, varnish the case, and attatch everything to the case. I'll probably put up a picture of the case with the buttons attatched so eveyone will have an idea of what it should look like, minus the varnishing in a little bit.

Edit: actually, there are a few other things that I gotta do, but it should stil be done in about a week or 2

I'm not having an internal one, actually. I'm probably going to use my pocket tv and figure out some way to add a tv temporarily, though.

Update: I have the case stained, and it looks really good. It's a little on the dark side, but I think that once a little poly is added it will add a bit of a shine to it, which should help.

That looks like a woodworkers dream come true (video game wise). I'm looking forward to see the complete thing.
