Some Questions befor I start building

Post by Kai »

Hi
I think I'll finally start working on my nesp I just bought a psone screen clone from ebay it's 5,6'' and a batterie pack is included it has the specs 7,2V 2000mAh (will the batterie work) and I can't find a 2N4401 in germany are there other types which I can use
And because I destroyed my last game genie when I tried to remove the connector I thought of integrate the whole gamegenie and not just the connector, therefor I'd like to know if every game will work when its plugt into the gamegenie(even if it would have no effect)

Have a nice day and best wishes
Kai

You could try making the circuit with a different NPN transistor. It might or might not work that way. You could also just order the 2N4401 from Digikey.

another thing comes to my mind the metal box in the nes the rf-modulator it has video out and sound out would't it work if I used that in the nesp then I could also connect the nesp to tv via antenna port.
Has some one done that before and is the metal shielding needed??

another thing the box has a voltage regulator would it work if I wouldn't connect the net cable(i really don't know what its called "the cable with the plug") but connect my batteries (2000mAh 7,2V) and how long would the system run on batterries?

THX for the help and also answer because of my mic question

Kai

Ps: I almost forgot to ask this I got a NES for free cleaned the contacs and bend it but the TV Screen is black nothing happens only when I push the game down the tv flicker but you have to watch hard to notice it

It could be the same problem I had.

On my NES it would flash black, then purple, then black, then another color over and over. It is the Pin Connector inside the NES. I just bought one off of eBay for about 8 bucks including shipping. Hopefully this helps.

I have a even bigger problem to get another nes won't be a problem even if i'd like to use the one i've got but my screen it doesn't work like I would like it to ok it's working but has some one used a brooklyn 5600 Ps1 screen (5,6'')
the text in the games is not alway displayed right parts are missing (not complete word but some pixels so a A sometimes looks like a upsidedown V ok that's not that bad but if a whole word or scentence is influenced it really is unreadable. and on the right of the display is 0,5 - 1 centimetermore space then on the left I think perhaps a controller mistake or not right adjusted
The screen is a Sharp LQ6AN101 and the psone controller on the back of the LQ6... are some potis labled VCDC, VC0 and H-POS do you know what I can do with this??
and a schematic a datasheet or a pinout would be useful please post it or pm me I also need a pinout for the playstation audio video plug

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
