All right since the LCD has a female RCA connection, I was watching Macgyver (thank you Spike TV) and then I saw Macgyver fuse a cord for a bomb, then HOAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH; an idea. So why not buy a cheap dollar RCA jack, then hack it. Take the video cord into the video pin and the ground cord into the ground pin then plug the RCA jack into the female connection. Theoratically it seems possible but since you guys are the experts, i'll ask you on YOUR EXPERT OPPINION. Leave a message and thanks.

How are you supposed to melt plastic and ruin your tip if you dont get a soldering iron?

Incidentally when you solder direct to the board, all you do is bypass the AV jack. This lets you remove the jack, and gain a little extra space in the portable (only a little) and reducdes the chance of the cable pulling out.

However if you have the space then plugging a cable in will definitely work, but i prefer to solder.

Drum Roll, I GOT A SOLDERING IRON AND I KNOW HOW TO USE IT, also answering a few questions, I have the space to plug it in. So finally just plug it in, and solder the hacked wires. Oh yeah and melting plastic is FUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

but i just wanna know if it works, because wasting the Genesis mobo, is like commiting suicide(WHICH I WILL NEVER CONSIDER OR RECOMMENED), I wont get another chance. so can you people just say It'll work or wont work. Thats all im asking

Have you considered taking up knitting instead? If you can't stomach or afford to kill a Genesis board, you're taking up the wrong hobby. You will likely kill at least one board due to your own error, that's just the price of this hobby.

So finally just plug it in, and solder the hacked wires.

Go for it, sink or swim, it's time to try! Unless you solder onto the power pins somehow, you can't really kill the screen or the Genesis, you'll at worse get a scrambled screen.

You got me on that one, and looking into my crystal ball, I can tell you that plugging the wires into the port will work if you do it right, and that you're older than 10!!
