yeah, the GBA emulator is REALLY slow and it has no sound now, either :(....but the SNES, NES, Genesis, and SMS/GG emulators all run great :D!!!!

*and now you can play the emulators without having to switch memory cards :D!!!!
man, I love the PSP....because it can play all my favorite Nintendo and Sega games :D!!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Is the GBA emulator really the straw that broke your PSP-exempt back? I'm sorry for your ignorance, but the DS already played GBA games.

And if it means saving 400 dollars, I'll live without all the emulators.

im not a big fan of emulators... they dont run properly all the time, they crash, they are a pain, and theres legallity issues when i start downloading PS2 games...

besides, if yur questioning your DS purchase becuz of an emulator for PSP, yu should keep at least 20 feet from yourself, and any ninty product...

besides, if i want to play GBA games, why on earth am i lugging around a massive, fragile, PSP... ill just get my Pocket pc, or bring an actual gameboy... the SP is nice and small, nevermind the micro, which is like the size of my thumb...

the handheld market is dead, get over it... neither the DS or PSP have any decent games worth mentioning, i have both, i know... that is why im building portables of my favourite consoles...

by the end of this year, the DS will have killer apps... into the blue, mario kart, animal crossing, goldeneye, metroid, black and white, age of empires... the PSP, well... uh-... the PSP will have movies, and maybe GTA... exciting.

i have no idea why, but i kinda feel the urge to get a Gameboy Micro. I have a flashcart, and it wouldnt be that hard to lug around that little thing in my pocket for whenever i have the urge to play tetris and many other slick NES games.

id have to agree, the state of portable gaming, isnt very portable... the DS and PSP are monstrous, and portabalized systems, are portable... but by no means, small...

tetris is the god of all games... ive speant too much time playing that, and solitaire.

eh, both systems are small enough to fit in my pocket...that's good enough for me :)!!! and if you're wondering why someone would play GBA games on their PSPs instead of just getting a GBA or DS, then remember that some people bought the PSP to play it's games (which I believe it has a good amount of, er, good ones :P) and that the added bonus of playing emulators, watching movies (which I DO use the psp for ;)), and listening to music makes the PSP is a great system to have :)....don't get me wrong, though, the DS is awesome, too....it's getting some awesome games later this year and when Castlevania and Advance Wars comes out for it those two games will dominate my life :P (at least for a little ;))....

warbaby, have you ever played any PSP games? (and by play, I mean actually try them with an unbiased outlook :P).....not to start a fight or anything, but I just want to make sure you're not simply bashing the PSP because you THINK the games suck.......
Without games my life would have no meaning.

i own the psp, but the money i spent on it dint get me much... ive got ridge racer... its good, but not real good... and fifa soccer, its fun, but very tedious and repetiive game play...

i luv the psp, its slick, draws attention...

im just not feelin it, especially all those defects, had a hair under my screen...

im hoping i can forget that with the next firmware upgradge, heres hoping a bright future dawns on the PSP and DS alike.

I have to say I agree with Warbaby when it comes to the DS. There are amazing games coming out like Splinter Cell + all the others he mentioned.
