game king--am I the only one to think they're cute?
I was doing my usual stumble around ebay when I hit this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 36296&rd=1
looks like fun--too bad it's not $20.
it's creative little system--better than those nes pirates any day. of course there's also a chance that all the games are built in, and the cartridges just select the game. For some reason that would make these less cool...
the games even have their own little box art... It's just cute...

that seller is very reliable, if you are thinking of getting one. I bought my GP32 BLU from him, andhe was very attentive. I had problems with the shoulder buttons of the Gamepark (common manufacturing defect) and he lead me to a thread with a simple DIY fix, and even double checked to make sure I had it fixed when I didn't respond for a day or so

yeah, I found it searching for a gp32...which, for some reason, continue to hold their value on ebay...
anyway, I guess the gameking is old news--even a little dev scene for them... if I can find one for cheap--it's totally mine. Anybody seen them around?
I want the fun of TI calculator games without all that functionality

Yes, VMUs are probably (much) faster, and more compact, but there's no extremely cool boxart associated with them. And it's too bad about that whole thing about keeping batteries in them... what was sega thinking? why didn't they give it a rechargable that recharged from dreamcast power?
this reminds me a lot of my cybikos. I liked that idea...it's a shame it didn't take off. I was so starved for people to play against, I bought one for everybody I knew when they hit $12--merry x-mas *lol*
That system was another battery screwup. When they said "don't charge it for more than 8 hours" they meant it.

appearantly they also have a psp gameking and a GBM(?) gameking.
http://www.daidaixing.com/newproduct.asp?id=232
GM-218 - GM-220 are gameking models
since I'm always the last to find out about anything they have both the GBA and PSP gameking at http://success-hk.com for under $30 with the typical 13 games.
