Computer infected, restarting when i log on, HELP!

Post by totokan »

My computer has a virus, i know. I got rid of it with norton (newly updated definitions) and used 3 alternate virus checkers to check for viruses. then i ran Ad-Aware, spybot, MS anti-spyware, and still I have problems. A few days ago, my desktop changed to this (I NEVER use IE):

Then, about 5 minutes ago, it changed again. I'll upload a pic soon, but instead of blue, it was black and it says "SYSTEM STOPPED"-big red letters.
"System has been stopped due to a serious malfunction.
Spyware activity has been detected.

It is recomended to use spyware removal tool to prevent data loss.
Do not use computer before all spyware removed"
Word for word off the desktop (which is from the computer i'm using to type this)
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

You sure its not just a freind playin jokes on you becuase that does just not sound normal you could be getting hacked also if your desktop changes like that if problems keep persisting after you run antivirus programs I would wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows.

Well that blue error message is definitely not a "real" one, seeing as it has spelling errors. It's probably a virus or maybe a hacker. Do you have a firewall? If not, then you should get one right away.

Well, i figured it was something stupid after i read the text. Why do people do these things if they are not going to use proper english? At least make it seem like the error screen is real.

hmm, I had a problem like that, and my pc wasn't even connected to the internet.

Whenever Windows tried to boot up I got this message:

SYSTEM HALTED

Windows was unable to boot up due to missing or removed system files.

Contact your vendor immediately.
