If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I really appreciate it. I just accidentally burned myself with the soldering iron, so I'm taking the rest of the night off. Also I'm headed over to radio shack tomorrow because I've become a bit frustrated with floppy drive cable (even though it's really great, really cheap). Are there any particular specification of cable I should use? Thanks again. (If you can still find that picture, that would be great because I plan on trying again tomorrow.
I made my 1st attempt at this modification. Now I'm really wishing I was just a bit more carefull with my original desolder. Well here are the pictures of what I did, do you think there is any chance? Thanks.
Sorry to bring back such an old thread but I thought it would be better to continue this thread than start a new one. I have the same problem as jeffslot. I also broke the jack. I am building the cnc portable nes in Ben's book but now that I have broken the jack how can I make this work. Thanks in advance!
It's actually frowned upon to bump old threads here. Your efforts would be better served by making a new thread tailored to your needs, or perhaps PMing Jeffslot about the project.
