VGA to RGB on PSone screen
Moderator: Moderators
I have hooked the PSOne (repacked into a verge model) screen into a PC. The computer VGA usually has C-Sync. You dont always need to strip it. If you do, the circuit you posted will work. As for the refresh rate and all the crap, play with power strip under a windows envroment if you can so tyou can get the exact timings of the screen. Some people say the PSOne screen is 15KHz, some say 18KHz, some say 21KHz. Mine is 13KHz... And the max resolution is 640x480...

You're both wrong. I want to use the audio from the computer with the screen's amplifier and speakers, but I want to disable the volume controls on the screen and have the amplifier run at full volume. To adjust the volume, I will use the controls on the computer itself.
Edit: I can't play with the refresh rate with Power Strip because I will be running BSD unix on it.
