Super Joy III Interference

I just got another Super Joy III and before i even opened it I tested it out and there is interference on the audio line. How can I fix this? replace the ribbon with shielded wire? Could this be permanent?

I think all it needs is a capacitor, seeing as how most NOACs have one bridging the connection to the jack. Does anyone know what uf is used I can't remember off hand?

take a pic of the place you think it needs a capacitator in yours and i'll take a look at mine and tell you because i just opened mine up

Did you get yours from Gannon? Is the audio when silent a little fuzzy? All I'm planning to do is just put the right uf capacitor between the jack and the audio out. So just solder the audio out wire to one lead of the capacitor an the other to the jack. Does anyone know what a proper uf to use would be?

Try a 10uF capacitor between the audio line and ground right on the phono jack.

Are their any other higher values? The closest one I have is 2.2 uf

You could always desolder the 100uF decoupler from the power line on the noac controller and move it to the audio line to see if it helps
