Post by shmagoogin77 »

if i got an rc battery pack ( http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... ProdID=121 ) would i connect it to the system and screen with this:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... Fid=23-445
or
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... Fid=23-444
the 1st one says its for 9.6v
and the 2nd says its for 7.2v
or do those not matter?
or i might just get this:
http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... ProdID=293
or this:
http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... ProdID=587
because the rc battery is huge

it does not matter which RC battery connector you use--they are the same.

but I would upgrade to a peak charger. That wall charger is slow and probably doesn't charge the battery properly--why they'd pack it in with a decent pack is beyond me.

and you're right--that battery is huge. they're c-cells. AA would be better. Though that little charger will be lucky if it charges them in 4 hours. again, peak chargers are your friend. takes about 15 min with one...

those are okay, I one. Better ones charge the batteries individually, though. However those are all those little units are very slow. 2-6hrs...

Peak chargers are built for the RC market to charge battery packs extremely quickly. Here is a decent low end one:

it charges at 5amp from DC input and 3 amp from AC (but you can up it to five if you buy the addon cord)
