No Sound
I have done everything right using the PSone screen, yet there is no sound. I followed ben's guide from extremetech.com to try to figure out what the problem is. As far as I can tell, I did everything right. This is the only thing that doesn't work at this point. Does anybody have any suggestions?

hmmm...I had a similar problem a while back...first of all, make sure everything is wired correctly
(whenever I say this, I mean make sure that the audio line is connected to the right pin/wire and that ground is wired up, too....also, make sure that there aren't any loose connections or anything....oh, and make sure you've got the three headphone pins (l,r, and switch) connected together). If you've done all of the following, then try tracing the audio line(s) to a resistor (er, I THINK it's a resistor
)and then short out that little resistor thing and then try it
. it worked for me!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

so you tried jumping that resistor and it STILL didn't work?...hmmm....well, make sure the speakers are connected correctly...and, perhaps try the other audio pins on the psone screen (check out this sticky) if you've got the audio line(s) connected to pins 2/3, then try it on pins 9/10...hopefully that'll work

You can download for free the part of the book about making a SNESP right here. It's perfectly legal, offered by Popular Science mag.
