SO PISSED OFF!!

Argh as the subject says, im so pissed off right now.

I've been trying to trace that damn psone screen to whatever pins its suppose to be BUT THEY ALL CONNECT DAMMIT WHAT THE HELL !!!

Its so stupid, theres no reason it should be doing it, ive cut out the main board (that connects to the power and the psone) removed the audio because i dont want it.

Now i have 5 wires still, ive tried composite video (what you get off the yellow rca plug) and ive tried that every different combonation but nothing comes on the damn screen!

Ive also tried svideo from my pc but nothign then either, i might try it from a dvd player so that i know its definetly being outputted :\!!

hmm it would stink if you didnt have the grounds connected and that was the only problem

Nah, the grounds are connected and stuff.

Its getting really annoying

Have you got the +5v going into the screen AS WELL AS the 7.5V.

I attached a small wire from the 7805 on the back to pin 12 on slot 1 and that fixed this problem. Check out this page.

I cant find a 7805 on my psone screen (its 3rd party).

All i could see was something that was similar but smaller and another thing which had about 6 pins.

The smaller thing could be a variable regulator (maybe an LM317). The thing with 6 pins is probably a transformer for the backlight.
