How rare is a DC?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

don't discourage someone from making a DCp, encourage them. cronic the hedcold, you should portablize one. i seriously doubt they take 5 different voltages. even if they do take several, it wouldn't be too hard to wire some voltage regulators :D

that would be pretty easy to wire :) . i don't know how picky it is about voltage, but here's a diagram for it:

you could also use a GC dc-dc converter (there's one in every GC!!!)....it outputs 12v, 5v, 3.4v, and 1.9v :)....(and yes, it works...I've tried it and I believe dkap01 used one on his DCp)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

As I see it and dkap01 would probibly agree, the hardest part is the connection between the mobo and the GD-rom. Its like 15 leads and their rather close together. If you can get a small solder tip, a steady hand you can do it, I'm not going to do that immediatly... still need to finish a project first.
