I am making it into a mame and im putting a ps2 in it also with wireless controllers. I dont know though a hundred dollars is a lot for something like that who know they might be throwing it out but since i asked for a machine try and charge me for it.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I just have to say that in the summer I'll be working, fixing such arcade machines. If I want, I could get an empty cabinet for pocket change.

But back to you, I'd go with it.

try putting a wanted ad on craigslist.org.

I put an ad on a similar free stuff site for the Twin Cities, and I had a cabinet in my garage a week later. Now I'm finally getting back to it, and I'm almost done with the control panel, which will probably be the hardest part :D

what kind of computer are you going to stuff inside your cab? I'd recommend a PIII if possible, since that should run Neo Geo games pretty well (Metal Slug, anyone? :D )

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

becuase it costs a lot of money to build one more than it does to buy one in some cases.
