i used to use imesh, limewire, winmx, kazaa, but with all the legal issues, i dont wanna get caught. there has to be a way to make it impossible to get caught

Bittorrent rules them all! If you guys think limewire is better than bittorrent, you must have never used bittorrent before. I just downloaded a lm rainbow table(over 12 gigs)and I finished in a little over a day. Bittorrent isn't for the faint of heart. I can see how people like other p2p software, because they're a lot easier to find files. On bittorrent I need to cap the dl connection cause if I max it out it blogs down any web browsing.

I'm not bashing lime, kazza, or mule cause I use them too.(I would have to say lime is second best)
I'm just saying that for huge files(<1gig) bittorrent is the best.

Like I said, I could download multiple movies in less than a day. That was over 10GB, so Id say that eMule is fast. Shmagoogin, use the google hack that Jack posted a month or so ago. Just search for it.

I did not type this but I do not take part in illigal file shareing and I do belive its a bit foolish to risk huge fines just for a movie or something

Like I told someone before, if you share files for 7 years, chances of getting in trouble are still less than 1 in 15,625,000, and that is if you are sharing non-stop

First I'll just point out the pros and cons of Bittorrent and eMule (both of which I use).

Bittorrent; fast, easy and a large archive of videos/distros/software/ect.
The biggest fall back I can see is that you can only operate one download at a time.

eMule; fast, massive archive of software, ect.
The biggest problem is some files I've looked for are not active enough and some file names are not accurate.

As for the ones I suggest. eMule for indivigual files and such, like music, videos and the like. Bittorrent is great for linux distros, downloading whole seasons of a show/animation, ect.

My ISP has extremely crappy up speed and almost as crappy down speed. I'm lucky to ever get over 20kb/s on bt anymore (a few months ago I was getting around 300kb/s though, so I think they might've just capped the high level ports)
