Can Someone Point Me in the Direction...

...of a good electronics engineering beginning book or site, I'm reading all these posts about pocket PC designs and all these other cool projects that you guys are undertaking and I wanna be able to be a part of it..only problem is I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about, I'm a helpless newbie, so please help this newbie lol!

yeah ther arnt pocket PCs they are full sized PCs portablized, meaning just a battry, pocket or PSone screen. most of the work sould be heat managment and power requirements. most desigens are by nature vary impolsable and expensave. but upgreading or converting a real pocket PC in to a gaming platform is a geat idea.
