I got my intec screen pad and now i need help

i dont know which wires are which

there are 6 wires Red, orange, white, yellow, brown, and black
i also need to know how much power just the screen takes alone
please help

cut the wires and check the voltage?

it came with an ac adapter

ya, I have 2 of those things. They're great for only $20-ish!

yellow=composite
red=right
white=left

not sure, but I'm guessing the orange wires are ground?

Try this to see what's what:
open the power connector and touch one multimeter lead to the ground wire. Then touch the other lead to each wire in question in sequence at the point where it's conencted to the screen conenctor. (maybe remove the white connector?)
The wire that gives the meter a signal is the power ground. Repeat for the other wires.

Please post anything you figure out.

(cuz Intec screens are a hella lot more common in the US than Hip Gear screens.)

Brown is probably video ground.

thne if there was an auido and video ground then there would only be one wire for power

Brown is probably ground for both video and audio. Set up a test circuit with an LED and resistor to test power flow from the orange and black wires. Orange is probably V+. Are any of the wires thinner than others?

non of them are thinner but the white and yellow ones have write on them
also is it possible that red and blck are + and - and something else besides red is adio right?

i figured out all the wires (im pretty sure)

red = audio
white = audio
yellow = video
brown = ground
black = negative
orange = positive
