freaky screen

i did the led mod to my other psone screen this one is going towards my NES and hooked a battery up to it when i put 7.2 volts into it from pin one nothing happens but when i put it in on both regulator the leds go on and when i press the brightness controls i see the green bars but they are funny lookin and kinda scratchy can any one help me out

cause i dont feel like buyin another screen

Make sure your battery is charged. I ran out of power and my green bars turned a little purple and started acting weird.

nah cause i was using the same Ni-Mh batts as on my snes and they ran like a sec before i think i fixed it by jumping a fuse up front but it still doeasnt take power threw pin 1

That same thing happens to me if i put a little too much power across the screen, or if i have the Signal and Ground leads to the composite input backwards.

well i put power into both the regulators on the screen and tested it with my hacked snes and it worked
