Oh and if you can't read japenease http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr
Looks like they have the connection still so you can hook up the hdd. I wonder how you'd go about doing though, because in the original PS2 the hdd go inside this time it will just have to hang out.

To prevent confusion and to try and keep things more organized, I locked the other pstwo thread, it can be seen here.
Also, I was checking out that website again, and although the heatsink is smaller, it seems like they positioned a fan right above the processor.

Hey gannon I saw you said(in the other topic) that you heard it wasnt going to be called the PSTwo. While I cant say that I have heard anything for sure(because I havent) I do know that Sony has registered the trademark and copyright to the term PSTwo.

Yep heres a quote from Gamespot
http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/09/21 ... slot_clicktoday Sony unveiled a radically redesigned version of the device. It was, however, not named the "PStwo" as many had expected. "The new version will go by the same name as the old version," a Sony representative told GameSpot.
The new,PlayStation 2 doesn't have a hard-disk drive bay.

Now thats just plan lazy not finding a way to incorperate the hdd into the new design. Iw ould have expaceted at the every least plans for an addapter sot he hdd would sit on the top (the the dvd cover). Instead they just brusj it off as something miner?! They're obviously not interested in pleasing the game community their truing to build.
