Can any tell if my 1st Solder looks workable?

Post by jeffslot »

Hello,

I'm just trying to see if I'm doing this in an OK fashion. Not sure if you can see enough detail from this photo, though. Any opinions, appreciated.

Try shooting another pic in macro mode, for a clearer pic. And set up a desk lamp to illuminate it without getting graininess or flash glare.

Looks Ok, though. :)

It's fine! Just as it would be if Ben himself would have done it! (sans the "Ben was here" tape.)

Oh, I thought you meant the solder joints themselves. Sorry.

The connections look right.

Actually you're both right. I wanted to know if I got them in the right spots & if the joints looked OK. I'm not too sure about macro mode on my camera, I will probably try to re-take the picture in the A.M when I wont need the flash.

It will work as long as the solder holds the wire securely. Just make sure it doesn't bridge across to the neighboring connections. :)

Hi,

I'm not sure if this picture is any better, but I though I would try because I was going to do a little more soldering tonight. Thanks.
