PSone screen getting warm.

Somewhere in the middle of the screen, on the left side, the PSone screen gets a little bit warm. Also, the screen itself gets a bit warm. Is this normal for it to get warm like that?

What are you running it with? AC adapter, batteries, etc.

I'm running it off of the standard 7.5v 3.0a PSone screen AC adapter.

Nope. I mean, it's not like it'll burn you. It's just slightly warm.

That's normal. I thought it was really hot. it gets that way after playing for a while. No machine is 100% efficient in converting energy. some is lost to heat energy.

mine's running on 8.4v and the backlight gets very hot after a while. do backlights burn out easily?

It should work fine up to 9 volts
