the responce from the game maker comunity is my fav! i honestly dont care and i'm in this to benifit any way than to make my own dam games for the DS
any ways here is the sellng speach, the Game maker program is a point and click game devloping tool. its pritty indepth but still simplistic, game maker can use its own scripts and external files aswell as the ablity to play online or run CDs music videos and all kinds of fancy external files.
besides that it can make some pritty nice 2d games and some decent 3d ones.
the idea is one could make a DS game by making some thing in game maker save it and convert it to the DS. then could use say the touch screen instead of mouse actions, dual screen Devlopment all easy to get a hold off.
and yeah i'm making Grand theft MArio for it... ah yeah...

You can use GBA flashcarts to play DS games, you need a passme or some funky wireless card in your computer.

Or you at least have to use a passme/wifime for a bit. If you can get it to work once, you can update your firmware to boot off of nds files in the gba cart, or to the origional menu.

Looks risky, I dont have an extra 300 dollars to blow (between the extra DS [I watch my current one like a hawk, and treat it with a golden touch], the flash cart, and the book for learning C++).

DS wifi internet play is coming, then I imagine a browser will follow, and a new version of pictochat that supports online connection.

didnt say i wasnt going to. yeah im trying to get DSlinux gbaDev and gamemaker comunity to all work together on this, yeah its not even my project.. yeah there not going to be any imporvments if i cant find any one.. so remember kids if you can find programmers, you could easly D&D or program your own DS games, its that simple just find programers if you want to suport. and if you are a programer please program!
