Need advice on batteries

That means that your portable has a load of about 857mA. Energizer makes some 2500mAh batteries that would last nearly 3 hours. 15-20 minutes isn't enough to cry over though.

BTW: I based those numbers on 2:20 hours of use.

you are confused, yes it would be 12ah if you had them all in parallel, he is running them in series for 7.2v at 200mah (for 2 hours twenty minutes of run time) the 3300mah battery (if it is 7.2v) would run his portable for almost 4 hours

yeah, meaning that if you want the 15amps thatll give you, and the 7.2v youll want/need, you'd require 36 batteries. Heh.
