I just saw something in the Radio$hack flyer. It looks EXACTLY THE SAME! Radioshack is coming down with a case of "Sears Syndrome". They're ripping other companies off and slapping their name on the goods! scary.

Same company(sort of). RadioShack is just a licensed front, which is owned by CC.

I thought it was:

Code: Select all

Tandy Corporation
         |
Radio$hack
and

Code: Select all

Sears & Roebuck, Inc.
  | |
Sears Kmart
:?

One caution: sometimes you charge them and they appear to be dead, no voltage coming out or anything. Fix it by sticking it in some device (pocket tv for example) with some good operating batterys, and leave it on for about 10-20 mins. After a while it will suddenly turn on.
I have no idea why they do that in the first place.

Also I would reccomend getting the 4 AA charger instead of only a 2 AA charger.
yu have saved me much frustration... thx yu...

and yes, RS is now the source CC, i have no idea whats goin on, sumthin bought by sumthin else... its all recent to, within the last two weeks, RS has to send all their stuff back to get it re-labelled with the new logo's... my only source of solder, switches, and what not, now carries almost nuthin fer the next few weeks.
