Ribbon Cable

Went to Raidoshack lookin for some Ribbon cable but all they had was
"Internal IDE Cable" part# 278-780

i was wondering if this would be ok to use in the PSone portable. if not where can i get the correct type?

if its 40 pin then yes

it says "Connects one or two IDE drives" "40-conductor ribbon"

is that the same thing?

it doesnt matter all your gonna do is rip it up but if you get the single stranded kind it works better

i found mine at a compo repair shop and it was also a lot cheaper
