stupid switch

ok i just put a new switch in my portable a dpdt switch and whenever i coonect power while the switch is on it works and when i turn it on while power is connected it doesn't

i am using a sony infolithium NPf-550 for now but am gonna replace that with 6 NI-MI AAs soon

in the middle postsw i have the battery positive and negative and next to that on one side is + and - to the snes and on the other side is + and - to the charge jack which will be for the AAs

please tell me why the switch wont work right

i think it was the battery because i switched them and now its good

snes, yeah Triton just sent me a scan of the cases design Tritons sweet doings

i have all the wiring done including the new batteries and charger its charging now
