This should make the PS2p MUCH easier.

hmm...I might have to start designing another ps2p then :)
I hope they decrease the mobo's length a bit, maybe put the dvd drive in the center also.

Wow with less then a year until the 256 bit consoles are to start debuing Sonies releasing a smaller PS2? Man they're looking to milk it as much as Sega did with its consoles.

As for the unit its self its will make it easier to portablize, and I'm going to be looking forward to see if they get reid of the massive heat sink.

Didn't Sony release the PSOne just before the PS2? Personally, I really wish they could make a different name, so that there's less confusion.

But the more confused the customer the more power the seller has dont you know business. Besides like I said Sega didnt change much withe the name for the Genesis-Sega CD, it became the Sega CDX (wow a whole letter added).

yeah, though the dumbest idea (IMO) is making (or currently, planning) the PlayStation X, or PSX. Doesn't that name sound familiar already?

yeah, and I think there's gonna be an american release, unless it got canned (which would've been a good move by Sony, since it's so expensive)

I know it's called the PSX, I mentioned it on the old forums and everyone thought I meant the original playstation since lots of people refer to it as the PSX

Yeah it is all very confussing. Sony really needs to get some more creative names to cut down on this confusion I mean Playstation then Playstaion One then Playstation 2 GET A NEW NAME.
